FAQ
What makes these doormats so special?
Each doormat is a work of art! These are ALL individually hand-painted by me. Once your order is received, I get to work on your unique mat - I'm hand drawing your design with chalk, then using a heavy coat of colored exterior latex paint to make your design come to life. Finally, it's coated with a UV sealant spray and left to dry before shipping. Can you go to Target and get one for $15? Sure, but it's UV printed and you'll probably have the same doormat as your neighbor.
How do I care for a coir doormat and how long will it last?
Super simple: The better you care for your mat, the longer it will last. For several seasons' use, I recommend the mat is kept in a covered, dry area. Coir mats are NOT recommended for areas of direct snow or rain - your design will last but the coir fibers will darken.
Coir mats do shed minimally, just shake periodically to clean loose fibers from the mat!
Do you offer larger than 24x36 size?
Sorry! These are so expensive to ship that I keep my doormats limited to 24x36 and smaller. Trust me, you don't want to know what it will cost to ship anything larger!
Can I expedite my order?
Unfortunately not. I do not keep "on hand" stock of designs and your order is painted once ordered. Most of the year I ship within 3-7 days of purchase and I ship FedEx Ground.
Do you do custom orders?
Absolutely! They're my favorite ones to do. Use the "contact us" link on my site to shoot me a message. We can discuss what you're looking for and I'll be able to send a price quote and a custom order listing. Once purchased, I send 1-3 starting photo proofs of your design and we can work from there to finalize your custom doormat.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Sure do! Order minimum is $150 and I typically ship within 2 months - shop on Faire using my direct link: https://cindyhughesdesign.faire.com
